Operation Ten-Go (6 April 1945) - final suicide mission against the American fleet at Okinawa. Yahagi & Yamato, with destroyers Isokaze, Hamakaze, Yukikaze, Kasumi, Hatsushimo, Asashimo, Fuyuzuki and Suzutsuki. Yukikaze survived the war almost undamaged
After World War Two, Yukikaze was transferred to Taiwan Navy and renamed Tan Yang (丹陽), served until 1966.
