in service - European Partner Air Forces' (EPAF's); retired - United States Air National Guard (ANG)
ADF - Air Defense Fighter, upgraded avionics (including Identification friend or foe (IFF) interrogator with "bird-slicing" IFF antennas), and a spotlight fitted forward and below the cockpit, for night-time identification. Last F-16A ADF (North Dakota ANG) retired from the US service by 2007.
F-16AM/BM - F-16A/B was upgraded with Mid-Life Update (MLU) package (to F-16C/D Block 50/52 standard)
