  • USS Tennessee was moored in Battleship Row when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec 1941, but not seriously damaged.
  • Aleutian Islands Campaign (Jun~Aug 1942)
  • Campaigns in Gilberts, Marshall Islands, the Mariana and Palau Islands in 1943 & 1944
  • Philippines campaign (1944~1945)
  • Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa in 1945
