Second Battle of El Alamein [23 Oct ~  11 Nov 1942] - took place near railway halt of El Alame in Egypt. 
Direct Vision (DV) - the armored visors for the driver and co-driver at the front of the hull. These visors were deleted from the glacis plate as it is the weak point of armor.
