  • Ausf.J is last version of Panzer IV, was greatly simplified to speed up production to replace heavy front line losses. The electric generator that powered the tank's turret traverse was removed, so the turret had to be rotated manually.
  • Nibelungenwerk (also known as Nibelungenwerke or Ni-Werk) - the largest and most modern tank assembly factory in Nazi Germany, located near St. Valentin in Austria. Nibelungenwerk produced more than half of all of Nazi Germany's Panzer IV tanks. Nearly 4,800 (total 8,500) Panzer IV were produced in the Nibelungenwerk.
