  • commissioned: 1 March 1902
  • as the flagship of Admiral Tōgō Heihachirō(東郷 平八郎) during Russo-Japanese War, 1904~1905 (Battle of Port Arthur; Battle of the Yellow Sea & Battle of Tsushima)
  • After the war, Mikasa's magazine accidentally exploded and sank.
  • Mikasa was salvaged & repaired, then served as a coast-defence ship during World War I.
  • After decommissioned in 1922, Mikasa was preserved as a museum ship at Mikasa Park in Yokosuka(横須賀市).
